Welcome to our Sponsors!
Both of these amazing fabric shops have offered prizes for along the way and our Grand Finale. So generous! If you have not been to these on-line shops just click on their logos and check them out. So much delicious fabric and inspiration.
Because it is the dead of winter (at least it feels that way), I think we need a prize to keep us warm and motivated. From my own library a copy of Tula Pinks City Sampler. We all need more books! I mean that is why we are here in the first place right?!
So, from this month's linky party I will draw a random winner and this book will be swiftly delivered to your mailbox.
This month I picked my first project to work on, City Tracks from City Quilts.
I had plans to use this "yellow' stack of Konas for this project, but when it came down to it, I just wasn't feeling it.
So I dove back into my stash and went in a different color story direction
But now I have this
I am completely in love with this! The tops isn`t sewn together yet, but that is on the agenda for the Maritime Modern Quilt Guild Sew In this Saturday. This pattern is called City Tracks, but I am going to call my version Summer Tracks since the colors are so fresh. My husband wants to call it The Slasher, but have overruled him. I mean I didn`t even get any blood on it in the ``incident``
As a side note this quilt is also totally in keeping with my Fabric Fast. Every bit is from my stash! Feels so good to use what I have!
So how are you doing with your Library Project...Tell us all about it.
The Linky will be open until February 27th and then I will draw for this month`s prize.
Happy February!
Adrienne
I love it!! Can't wait to see it in person tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThat's really great progress, especially considering your "incident." Hope you're healing well - can't wait to see Summer Tracks when you finish it!

ReplyDeleteI love your colors for Summer Tracks. Greens and blues are so appealing, especially when we're snowed in!
ReplyDeleteThe quilt's looking great. I've been considering this pattern for one of my projects too. But I do think you should subtitle it The Slasher. I mean, Max did spend a long night at the ER with you!
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome. I can't wait to see it in person.
ReplyDeleteIs it too late to join TLP? I'm starting to feel left out.....

Deletewonderful job on this one I am hoping to link up Saturday or Sunday with some partly finishes. I would love to win this one as I have been putting off buying this book and now I can't seem to find it.
