For my giveaway I have a nice little package including two Patterns from Carolina Patchworks - Ascend and Groove, and a nice little woodsy neutral bundle of Fat Quarters featuring Kona Cottons and Stonehenge cottons from Northcott.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer getaway is Lake Michigan, only 40 minutes from my house so perfect for a quick day trip.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite places for a quick 3 day weekend getaway, are Medora, ND and the Deadwood/Hill City/Rapid City SD area. Neither one is fancy, but a nice place to get away. Medora is a little cowboy town, with the Medora Musical every night of the summer months, with the Badlands as the backdrop, and the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. And I love going down to the Rapid City area, it is full of history too, with Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, scenic drives, several quilt shops and wineries.

ReplyDeleteI am planning on going to Seattle,WA to spend time with my daughter and grandkids. Plus she is hosting a 4 day crafting weekend so am packing a suitcase full of quilting projects and supplies. I will be the only quilter as the others are all scrapbookers. Should be lots of fun.

ReplyDeleteWe go to a camp outside Bracebridge, Ontario in the Muskoka region. My husband started going there when he was about 10 and we have just continued going. It is on a river that is narrow and slow enough that we can swim across. Clean cool water in the pines. Not very busy. So peaceful even when there are children running around!

Glacier National Park (in Montana) has been my favorite. Last year I discovered a fairly remote campground near the Wild Sky Wilderness and did an amazing hike, so we're trying to go back there this year. :)
