Baby Bella: a finish

I can tell you that a sunny day in Ottawa is a very rare thing lately. So when I woke up to blue skies this morning I grabbed my latest finish, my camera and hit the road. Here is Baby Bella

The top of this quilt is all Bella from Lotta Jansdotter

On the back, as I always do for baby quilts, I went with flannel. I found this typewriter fabric which I really like.

I was going to bind in white, but then decided to keep the color going and pulled out the teal.

While things still look very dreary outside, there is hope

Thank you for stopping by, I hope the sun is shining where you are.

  2. That Bella fabric is great... especially those grey and orange prints. I think I'd be tempted to make something with just those! I also love your quilt-y road trips. Have to admit you've inspired me to do photo shoots somewhere other than the backyard!
