Bliangles

Don't you wish I would finish this crazy Triangle quilt? I do! I finished the top since we last spoke, and yes, it may be a hot mess, but I figured I now have a new design, the "Bliangle", a blunt tipped triangle. Who said I wasn't a designer?!






Regardless of the mess, I am in love with this baby. In just under a week I will be moving into my new house, so stitching will be on hold for a little bit. But that doesn't mean I am going anywhere, stay tuned for some conversations about stashing, picking fabrics, maybe some other interesting stuff!

There was beach combing...

There was lobster eating - this is the only evidence left. We ate 'em!



There was hot tubing, which is even better in the rain...

    I think the quilt looks so pretty! You can't even tell some of the triangles are off point I'm sure nobody will really notice. Good luck with your move :)

    girl, that quilt rocks- points or no points! I am loving that Carnaby Street! I have just enough Carnaby Street left from the queen sized quilt I made for a throw quilt. I've just been looking for the absolutely perfect pattern to show it off. the triangles do a fabulous job of that!

    You can't see the missing points at all. I'm glad you left it! Love the Carnaby St with all the low-vol. such a bright summery quilt!

    visiting from WIP wednesday. i love your quilt. I want to make a triangle quilt for my son and am concerned about making it a bliangle!! but this is so fantastic I don't think it matters

    Bliangles...I wondered what they are, and now I know! lol I think they are an awesome new design! I think I could make those without any cursing or seam-ripping nightmares. They look just fabulous in a finished design, too! {I suspect applique was invented to cover up some cut-off points!}
